No you don’t know what it’s like When nothing feels alright You don’t know what it’s like to be like me
To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked When you’re down To feel like you’ve been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down When no one’s there to save you No you don’t know what it’s like
No one ever lies straight to your face And no one ever stabbed you in the back You might think I’m happy But I’m not gonna be ok
Everybody always gave you what you wanted You never had to work it was always there You don’t know what it’s like
No you don’t know what it’s like When nothing feels alright You don’t know what it’s like to be like me
Simple Plan - Welcome to My Life

Tuesday, October 12, 2004 | Gooooooogle
It's hard not to use, hear or talk about google it seems. It's been said that Google will be "the biggest and most important company in the world in 5-8 years." This is undoubtedly good news for those that took advantage of the IPO's in the summer and the rest of the poor schmucks... errm I mean investors that jumped on Google when it was officially offered early this fall. Last I heard it was $127 a share... A bit pricey if you ask me.. and in more ways than one. Aside from it's much touted future as the future operating system of the internet, I find it hard pressed to buy shares of a search engine that's free! Aside from that I would barely be able to buy a portion of a single stock.. y'all know I'm broke as hell.. An insider ( my sister ) has said it will more than likely be split to accomodate the high demand dropping the price to about half... but I don't know.. All I know is I can't afford that, I'm still trying to make my way into penny stocks... ( I have my eye on a few Gold mines ).
Anyway, not to digress, but Google is so hip it even has it's own blog ( powered by none other than Blogger ) who among it's more prolific hostees includes me!... no shittin google's bloggin'.. you can read about everything google.. I'm sure they even have a bot who is incharge of keeping the blog up to date... I wouldn't be suprised. My favourite posts are of course the GLAT aptitude tests, which are both funny and intriguing questions... Know a little math? Maybe you can work for google!

Friday, October 08, 2004 | A perfect song for a Friday night full of dancing, grinding.... and some grown up stuff
I put it right there, made it easy for you to get to now you wanna act like you don't know what to do after I done done everything that you asked me grabbed you, grind you, liked you, tried you moved so fast, baby now i can't find you Oohh... I'm startin' to believe that I'm way too much for you all that talk but it seems like you can't come through all them lines like you could satisfy me now I see where believing you got me gave you the wheel but you can't drive me
If you can't make me say oohh Like the beat of this drum Why you ask for some You ain't really want none If you can't make me say oohh Like the beat of this groove You don't have no business in this Here's your papers, baby you are dismissed
Can you keep up? Babyboy, make me lose my breath bring the noise, make me lose my breath hit me hard, make me lose my breath - DC

Friday, October 01, 2004 | Weekend Revolution - The Ordinary Boys
The daily drudge deals a mean hand, Menial commerce makes a mean man, You're gonna, you're gonna have a fine time, Just, just not on my time.
If they could peer behind the screens, At all your sordid little schemes, You unleash the tension, Do things I wouldn't mention.
Your weekday demons take their toll on you, But your weekend revolution just won't do. Don't hang yourself with your Christmas tie, In your coffin flat, you sit and die.
Your weekend revolution.
Your Mother's proud of her only son, What if she'd seen the things he's done. Friday and your five day prison, Glazed eyes and double vision.
You loutish lads look not for love, You grab your loins and hunt for blood, You unleash the tension, Do things I wouldn't mention.
Your weekday demons take their toll on you, But your weekend revolution just won't do. Don't hang yourself with your Christmas tie, In your coffin flat, you sit and die.
Your weekend revolution.
Your weekday demons take their toll on you, But your weekend revolution just won't do. Don't hang yourself with your Christmas tie, In your coffin flat, you sit and die.
Your weekend revolution, Your weekend revolution.
